Witnessing a dramatic shift from an open, democratic internet that was powered by the people to an authoritarian, corporate controlled vault of information, BAXE embarked on a mission to Take Back the Internet. With security, privacy, and accountability at the forefront of our design, BAXE sought to build a blockchain-enabled platform complete with self-sovereign digital identity and biometric authentication. The vision was a super app at the centre of an ecosystem encompassing communications, payments, storage, and shopping to combine everything we love about the internet, with the security of blockchain technology.
BAXE approached Accubits Technologies, a global technology solution provider, to build the technical components of the app that would Take Back the Internet. Accubits was a standout contender for the development with their specialisation in artificial intelligence and enterprise-grade blockchain applications. Additionally, Accubits’s deep expertise in engineering digital solutions for financial institutions meant they were an ideal partner for building the foundations of the BAXE ecosystem. The combination of the BAXE vision of a safer, fairer, and prosperous Internet was matched with the Accubits teams’ technical prowess.
The partnership between Accubits and BAXE ultimately resulted in the alpha version of the BAXE application in October 2021. The relationship didn’t end there. Ongoing services such as the development and integration of social media, real time chat, voice/video calls and real time cryptocurrency banking provided further product ideation and development leadership for the BAXE technical team. Accubits also provided the integration of third-party services into a fully functioning economic ecosystem complete with biometric authentication.
Integral to the success of the BAXE platform was the ongoing support stemming from the initial development of the application. Accubits had the capability to meet this need, providing support from commencement to the ongoing deployment of new features. The development team also offered operational management of the platform. The benefit of this for BAXE was the dedicated teams that came with internal flexibility. This meant that the development team was able to scale as BAXE grew and requirements changed.
As the BAXE app reached the final stages of the beta launch, Accubits continues to provide end to end technology services such as the development, test launch and scaling of the platform. The partnership between Accubits and BAXE continues to evolve as we expand our product offerings and set new milestones in tandem.
